Multi-unit multilayer ceramic capacitor

A multi-unit multilayer ceramic capacitor comprising:

• a multilayer body including a first side surface and a second side surface that face each other in a lamination direction, a first principal surface and a second principal surface that face each other in a height direction orthogonal to the lamination direction, and a first end surface and a second end surface that face each other in a length direction orthogonal to both the lamination direction and the height direction;
• a first outer electrode extending in the lamination direction on the second principal surface;
• and
• a second outer electrode extending in the lamination direction on the second principal surface;
• wherein
• the multilayer body includes, inside a single element assembly, a plurality of capacitor units each including a plurality of dielectric layers and a plurality of inner electrode layers, the plurality of capacitor units being located at predetermined intervals in the length direction and the lamination direction;
• the inner electrode layers include:
• first inner electrode layers connected to the first outer electrode;
• and
• second inner electrode layers connected to the second outer electrode;
• each of the first inner electrode layers includes:
• a first counter electrode portion;
• and
• a first extended portion protruding toward the first outer electrode;
• each of the second inner electrode layers includes:
• a second counter electrode portion;
• and
• a second extended portion protruding toward the second outer electrode;
• a distance between the first side surface and a central portion of the first exposed portion located closest to the first side surface is smaller than a distance between the first side surface and an end portion of the first exposed portion located closest to the first side surface;
• a distance between the second side surface and a central portion of the first exposed portion located closest to the second side surface is smaller than a distance between the second side surface and an end portion of the first exposed portion located closest to the second side surface;
• a distance between the first side surface and a central portion of the second exposed portion located closest to the first side surface is smaller than a distance between the first side surface and an end portion of the second exposed portion located closest to the first side surface;
• and
• a distance between the second side surface and a central portion of the second exposed portion located closest to the second side surface is smaller than a distance between the second side surface and an end portion of the second exposed portion located closest to the second side surface.
