A system for sober based social networking, comprising:

• a personal computing device, configured to:
• receive login information from a user;
• a network platform, operatively coupled to the personal computing device, configured to:
• register the user in a full user mode and an anonymous mode, providing the user an option to choose from the full user mode and the anonymous mode and alternate between the full user mode and the anonymous mode, wherein accessibility to the network platform is provided in one of said modes based on said login information, wherein the network platform is configured to automatically adjust layouts to accommodate different screen resolutions and applications designed to work specifically on different computing devices;
• receive a query from the registered user regarding rehabilitation;
• generate a list of one or more medical practitioners registered with the network platform based on a processing of the query;
• and
• create communication links with one or more registered medical practitioners based on a selection by the registered user, wherein the registered user communicates with the one or more registered medical practitioners in one of an anonymous mode and a full mode depending upon a stage of communication;
• a database, operatively coupled to the network platform, configured to:
• store user information, including login credentials, user mode preferences, and query history;
• store the generated list of one or more registered medical practitioners, including the one or more medical practitioners'contact details and areas of expertise;
• a server comprising a processor memory, and a communication interface operatively coupled to the network platform and the database, configured to:
• process the user's query regarding rehabilitation;
• match the query with the areas of expertise of one or more medical practitioners registered in the database;
• generate and provide the list of matched medical practitioners to the user for selecting a medical practitioner.
