Abstract

To enable imaging of an object at night regardless of its position within the imaging area, the invention provides a sensor module that detects an object within a predetermined monitoring area, a camera module including an infrared light source that emits infrared light into the monitoring area and an imaging means that captures an image of the object irradiated with the infrared light, and a control module that controls the sensor module and the camera module, the control module includes a position calculation unit that calculates position information indicating the detected position of the object based on a detection signal from the sensor module, and a light emission state control unit that controls the emission state of the infrared light, based on the position information, to either a low output mode in which low-output infrared light is emitted, or a high output mode in which high-output infrared light is emitted.
