Abstract
A medium processing apparatus includes a medium stacker on which a medium is stacked and processing circuitry to predict a stacking limit on the medium stacker, based on attribute information of the medium and information about a process to be applied to the medium, and predict whether the medium stacker reaches the stacking limit when the medium is conveyed to the medium stacker before the process is applied.

A medium processing apparatus comprising:
- a medium stacker on which a medium is stacked;
- and
- processing circuitry configured to
- predict a stacking limit on the medium stacker, based on attribute information of the medium and information about a process to be applied to the medium, and
- predict whether the medium stacker reaches the stacking limit when the medium is conveyed to the medium stacker before the process is applied.
An image forming system comprising:
- a medium processing apparatus including
- a medium stacker on which a medium is stacked and
- processing circuitry configured to predict a stacking limit on the medium stacker based on attribute information of the medium and information about a process to be applied to the medium;
- and
- an image forming apparatus to form an image on the medium,
- wherein the processing circuitry predicts whether the medium stacker reaches the stacking limit when the medium is conveyed to the medium stacker before the process is applied.
A non-transitory recording medium storing a plurality of instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, causes the one or more processors to perform a method, comprising
- predicting a stacking limit on a medium stacker based on attribute information of the medium and information about a process to be applied to the medium,
- the predicting including predicting whether the medium stacker reaches the stacking limit when the medium is conveyed to the medium stacker before the process is applied.
