Image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus comprising:

• a photosensitive drum;
• an exposure device configured to expose a surface of the photosensitive drum to light to form an electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive drum;
• a developing device including:
• a development roller configured to supply developer to the electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum to form a developer image on the photosensitive drum,
• a development chamber configured to accommodate the developer to be supplied to the development roller, and
• an opening configured to receive the developer to be supplied to the development chamber;
• and
• a correction unit configured to, in a case where the developer is supplied to the development chamber through the opening, correct, for each of a plurality of divided regions into which an image forming region where the developer image is formable is divided in a rotational axis direction of the development roller, a latent image forming condition used by the exposure device to form the electrostatic latent image,
• wherein the opening is disposed at a position overlapping the image forming region in the rotational axis direction, and
• wherein, with respect to the plurality of divided regions into which the image forming region is divided in the rotational axis direction, when a divided region overlapping the opening in the rotational axis direction is defined as an opening region and a divided region not overlapping the opening in the rotational axis direction is defined as a non-opening region, an amount of change in the latent image forming condition that is corrected for the opening region by the correction unit is larger than an amount of change in the latent image forming condition that is corrected for the non-opening region by the correction unit.
