Abstract
An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate, a photosensitive layer, and a protective layer. The photosensitive layer includes a charge generating agent. The protective layer is a top surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor. The protective layer includes a compound represented by a formula (A). In the formula (A), R21 represents a hydrogen atom, Li+, or K+, and R22 and R23 each independently represent an alkyl group having 1 or more and 4 or less carbon atoms substituted with at least one halogen atom.
