A light-field microscope having a light source an illumination beam path for guiding illumination light into a sample region, a two-dimensionally spatially resolving detector for detecting detection light coming from a sample, a detection beam path with a multi-lens array for guiding the detection light, a stop device for preventing crosstalk between detection paths belonging to different lenses of the multi-lens array, and a control unit for evaluating measurement data from the detector. Each lens of the multi-lens array belongs to exactly one of at least two lens groups, each lens group has at least three lenses, detector-side focal points of lenses of the same lens group lie at the same position in an axial direction relative to a sensor surface of the detector, detector-side focal points of lenses from different lens groups lie at different positions in the axial direction, and the lenses from each lens group are arranged distributed over a surface of the multi-lens array.
