Abstract
A sensor module for a motor vehicle, having an environment sensor, a viewing area through which the environment sensor can detect a vehicle environment, a sensor module frame on which the environment sensor is arranged so that it can be extended and retracted between a retracted position and an extended position, a cover arranged on the environment sensor, a surface bracket arranged on the sensor module frame, and a hood arranged at least partially on the surface bracket, which covers and/or spans the surface bracket and the cover and is made of a flexible or elastic or bendable material.

A sensor module for a motor vehicle, having:
- an environment sensor,
- a viewing area through which the environment sensor detects a vehicle environment,
- a sensor module frame on which the environment sensor is arranged so that it is extended and retracted between a retracted position and an extended position,
- a cover arranged on the environment sensor,
- a surface bracket arranged on the sensor module frame, and
- a hood arranged at least partially on the surface bracket, which covers and/or spans the surface bracket and the cover and is made of a flexible or elastic or bendable material.
