Abstract

Provided in the present application are a terminal device positioning method and a network-side device. The method is applied to a network-side device, which includes a plurality of remote single-TR antennas, wherein the plurality of single-TR antennas are connected to a network-side device body by means of signal feeders, and the plurality of single-TR antennas are deployed at different positions in a target positioning scene. The method includes: measuring a target terminal by means of a plurality of single-TR antennas to obtain a plurality of measurement reports for the target terminal, wherein one single-TR antenna measurement correspondingly obtains one measurement report, and the measurement reports include measured values of specified parameters for determining the position of the target terminal; and determining position information of the target terminal on the basis of the measured values of the specified parameters in the plurality of measurement reports.
