Beam measurement method for three-dimensional antenna array and apparatus

A beam measurement method, comprising:

• receiving reference signals corresponding to N reference signal resources, wherein the reference signals are used for beam measurement, the N reference signal resources are in a one-to-one correspondence with N beams, and N is an integer greater than 1;
• sending first indication information, wherein the first indication information indicates a first reference signal resource, and the N reference signal resources comprise the first reference signal resource;
• receiving reference signals corresponding to M reference signal resources, wherein the M reference signal resources are in a one-to-one correspondence with M beams, and M is a positive integer;
• and
• sending second indication information, wherein the second indication information indicates a second reference signal resource, and the second reference signal resource is either the first reference signal resource or one of the M reference signal resources.

A communication apparatus, comprising one or more processors, the one or more processors are configured to, when executing instructions, enable the communication apparatus to:

• receive reference signals corresponding to N reference signal resources, wherein the reference signals are used for beam measurement, the N reference signal resources are in a one-to-one correspondence with N beams, and N is an integer greater than 1;
• send first indication information, wherein the first indication information indicates a first reference signal resource, and the N reference signal resources comprise the first reference signal resource;
• receive reference signals corresponding to M reference signal resources, wherein the M reference signal resources are in a one-to-one correspondence with M beams, and M is a positive integer;
• and
• send second indication information, wherein the second indication information indicates a second reference signal resource, and the second reference signal resource is either the first reference signal resource or one of the M reference signal resources.
