Abstract
A system provides for an ability to automatically identify one or more chemical components of a sample, based on analysis of spectral data by at least one artificial intelligence module. The artificial intelligence module is able to be trained on a plurality of spectral data samples having known concentrations of individual chemicals and elements. The system is further operable to calculate the correlations between spectral data samples of varying concentrations and predict the concentration of the one or more chemical components of the sample.

A method for identifying elements, molecules, and/or mixtures in a sample, comprising:
- isolating a fluid sample within a reactor by closing a first valve on a first side of the reactor and a second valve on a second side of the reactor;
- applying power to a plurality of electrodes surrounding the reactor to create a non-thermal plasma within the fluid sample;
- transmitting optical emissions via at least one optical bridge to a spectrometer;
- generating time-resolved spectral data for the fluid sample over a target integration time;
- and
- processing the time-resolved spectral data to determine presence and/or concentration of one or more analytes in the fluid sample.
