Abstract
An archery bow includes a riser, a pocket, a limb, and a member. The pocket can be coupled to the riser. The pocket can define a limb-facing surface. The limb can have a distal end and a proximal end. The proximal end can have a pocket-facing surface. The member can be disposed between the pocket and the proximal end. The member can be configured to rotate about an axis of rotation to displace the pocket-facing surface from the limb-facing surface. The axis of rotation disposed parallel to the pocket-facing surface. Displacing the pocket-facing surface from the limb-facing surface can modify or vary a shooting plane of the archery bow.
Claims20
An archery bow, comprising:
- a riser;
- a pocket coupled to the riser, the pocket defining a limb-facing surface;
- a limb having a distal end and a proximal end, the proximal end having a pocket-facing surface;
- and
- a member disposed between the pocket and the proximal end, the member configured to rotate about an axis of rotation to displace the pocket-facing surface from the limb-facing surface, the axis of rotation disposed parallel to the pocket-facing surface.
An archery bow, comprising:
- a riser;
- a fastener having a first longitudinal axis;
- a pocket coupled to the riser by the fastener, the pocket having a limb-facing surface;
- a limb having a distal end and a proximal end, the proximal end coupled to the pocket;
- and
- a member disposed between the pocket and the limb, the member having a second longitudinal axis, the second longitudinal axis extending parallel to a reference axis that is orthogonal to the first longitudinal axis, wherein the member is configured to displace the proximal end from the limb-facing surface.
An archery bow, comprising:
- a riser;
- a pocket coupled to the riser, the pocket defining a limb-facing surface;
- a limb having a distal end and a proximal end, the proximal end coupled to the pocket, the proximal end having a pocket-facing surface;
- and
- a rotatable member disposed between the pocket and the limb, the rotatable member having a longitudinal axis,
- wherein:
- in a first configuration, the rotatable member is in a first orientation configured to displace the pocket-facing surface from the limb-facing surface a first distance;
- in a second configuration, the rotatable member is in a second orientation configured to displace the pocket-facing surface from the limb-facing surface a second distance;
- and
- the longitudinal axis maintains a spatially fixed position relative to the limb-facing surface or the pocket-facing surface when the rotatable member is rotated from the first configuration to the second configuration.
