A method for cooling carbon dioxide separated from flue gas generated from a combustion boiler within a building, the method comprising:
- separating nitrogen from flue gas using a pressure swing adsorption assembly;
- expanding the nitrogen within the presence of a heat exchanger to cool fluid within the heat exchanger;
- and
- transferring that cooled fluid to another heat exchanger operably aligned with the carbon dioxide product of the pressure swing adsorption assembly to cool the carbon dioxide product.
A method for liquefying carbon dioxide separated from flue gas generated from a combustion boiler within a building, the method comprising providing the gaseous carbon dioxide through a sparge assembly to sparge the carbon dioxide into liquid carbon dioxide within a vessel.
A building utilizing a carbon fuel source and generating carbon emission upon combustion of the carbon fuel source, the building emission operably coupled to a carbon capture system, the system configured to separate and condense carbon dioxide from the carbon emission.
A building utilizing a carbon fuel source and generating carbon emission upon combustion of the carbon fuel source, the building emission operably coupled to a carbon capture system, the system configured to process the carbon emission and return heat to the building.
A building utilizing a carbon fuel source and generating carbon emission upon combustion of the carbon fuel source, the building emission operably coupled to a carbon capture system, the system configured to process the carbon emission and generate electricity.
A building utilizing a carbon fuel source and generating carbon emission upon combustion of the carbon fuel source, the building emission operably coupled to a carbon capture system, the system configured to process the carbon emission and store electrical energy.
