Abstract
A discharge apparatus has: an oil pan that retains a lubricant for lubricating an engine that combusts a combustible gas; a conduit connected to a bottom section of the oil pan; a pump that is provided in the conduit and discharges, from the oil pan, liquid containing at least one of the lubricant and water in the oil pan before activation of the engine; a sensor that is provided in the conduit and measures at least one of a value of transmittance and a value of reflectance of the liquid flowing through the conduit; and a pump control section that stops discharge of the liquid by stopping the pump when the measurement value of the sensor has exceeded a threshold.
Claims12
A discharge apparatus comprising:
- a liquid retaining section that retains a lubricant for lubricating an engine that combusts a combustible gas;
- a conduit connected to a bottom section of the liquid retaining section;
- a pump that is provided in the conduit and discharges, from the liquid retaining section, liquid containing at least one of the lubricant and water in the liquid retaining section before activation of the engine;
- a sensor that is provided in the conduit and measures at least one of a value of transmittance and a value of reflectance of the liquid flowing through the conduit;
- and
- a control section that stops discharge of the liquid by stopping the pump when the value measured by the sensor has exceeded a threshold.
