A cutting apparatus for cutting earth can utilize a plurality of nozzles. Each nozzle can include a plurality of curved passageways defined in the body of the nozzle to direct fluid through the nozzle for being ejected from outlets of the nozzle so the fluid can contact debris being cut by a cutting member to help direct that debris away from the cutting member, help minimize dust formation during cutting operations, and/or help cool the cutting member. In some embodiments, the fluid that can be output from outlets of the nozzle can be a liquid that can experience reduced friction as it passes through the nozzle to provide a fluid flow that is more efficiently passable through the nozzle and/or able to pass through the nozzle so the output fluid can be output at higher velocities.
