Abstract
A door latch device includes a latch mechanism that releasably holds a striker, a lock mechanism that is switchable between an unlocked state and a locked state, an inner lever including a cable coupling part and an opening operation part, and a rotor pivotally supported to allow pivot with a motor. The lever shaft of the inner lever is disposed below the rotor shaft of the rotor, and the cable coupling part of the inner lever is disposed between the lever shaft 13e and the rotor shaft. The rotor is provided with an operation receiving part that receives an operation from at least either a lock knob or the inner lever to be positioned between the lever shaft and the rotor shaft.
Claims6
A door latch device comprising:
- a latch mechanism that is mounted in a door and releasably holds a striker provided in a vehicle body;
- a lock mechanism that is switchable between an unlocked state in which an operating force of an inner door handle provided in the door can be transmitted to the latch mechanism and a locked state in which the operating force cannot be transmitted;
- an inner lever including a first cable coupling part to which one end of a first cable having the other end connected to the inner door handle is coupled, and an opening operation part that transmits the operating force of the inner door handle to the latch mechanism via the lock mechanism in the unlocked state, the inner lever being pivotally supported by a lever shaft;
- and
- a rotor including a switching operation part that switches the lock mechanism between the locked state and the unlocked state, the rotor being pivotally supported by a rotor shaft extending along the lever shaft to allow pivot with a motor, wherein
- the lever shaft of the inner lever is disposed below the rotor shaft of the rotor,
- the first cable coupling part of the inner lever is disposed between the lever shaft and the rotor shaft, and
- the rotor is provided with an operation receiving part that receives an operation from at least either a lock knob provided on the door or the inner lever to be positioned between the lever shaft and the rotor shaft.
