Abstract
A fence bracket having rotating rail brackets and a clamp that allows for retrofitting of preexisting fences to be double sided. The rotating rail brackets allow for rotational adjustment of the attachment of the fence rail to the post to facilitate out of square fences, angled fences, and variations in the old fence structure. The fence brackets can also be used in constructing a new fence.

A fence rail bracket for attaching a fence rail to a cylindrical fence post, said fence rail bracket comprising:
- a post clamp configured for positioning on a cylindrical metal fence post comprising a throat and at least one clamp arm extending from said throat;
- a first rail bracket comprising two horizontal flanges separated by a web, said rail bracket configured for positioning therein of a fence rail secured in said rail bracket;
- and
- wherein said rail bracket is rotationally connected to said at least one clamp arm to provide for rotational adjustment of said rail bracket relative to said clamp arm.

A fence comprising:
- at least two posts;
- at least one rail extending between said posts;
- a fence bracket connecting said rail to one of said posts, said fence bracket comprising:
- a post clamp configured for connecting said fence bracket to a fence post;
- and
- a first rail bracket comprising two horizontal flanges separated by a web, said rail bracket configured for positioning therein of a fence rail secured in said rail bracket;
- wherein said first rail bracket is rotationally connected to said at least one clamp arm to provide for rotational adjustment of said rail bracket relative to said clamp arm;
- wherein an end of said rail is positioned in said fence rail bracket and secured by connectors;
- and
- wherein a series of vertical pickets are mounted on said rail.
