Abstract
A candle system including a shell including one or more walls defining a hollow, the shell being made of a first wax, an insert disposed in the hollow, the insert comprising a second wax having a lower melting point than the first wax, and a wick extending through the insert.

A candle system, comprising:
- a shell comprising one or more walls defining a hollow, the shell being made of a first wax;
- an insert disposed in the hollow, the insert comprising a second wax having a lower melting point than the first wax;
- and
- a wick extending through the insert.

A method of making a shell, the method comprising:
- raising the temperature of a first wax to a first temperature, the first temperature being equal to or greater than a melting point of the first wax and below a burning point of the first wax;
- pouring the first wax at the first temperature into a mold at a second temperature;
- emptying the mold of excess first wax after a predetermined time;
- and
- removing solidified first wax from the mold.
