Rubber composition containing organic fillers and being cross-linkable by means of sulfur

A vulcanizable rubber composition comprising

• a vulcanization system comprising at least sulfur and/or at least one sulfur donor;
• at least one rubber that is cross-linkable by means of sulfur and/or sulfur donor, with the proviso that if at least one halobutyl rubber is present, it is present in the rubber composition in an amount <70 phr;
• and
• at least one organic filler as a first filler F1, which is obtainable from lignin-containing biomass having a content of Klason-lignin of at least 60 wt.-%, based on its dry matter content, wherein organic filler F1:
• is different from carbon black,
• has a 14C content in a range from 0.20 to 0.45 Bq/g of carbon,
• has a BET surface area in a range from >24.0 to 150 m2/g, and
• is present in the vulcanizable rubber composition in an amount in a range of from 1 to <140 phr,
• wherein an amount of any optionally present carbon black in the vulcanizable rubber composition as at least one second filler F2 is <40 phr,
• wherein an amount of any optionally present organosilane, which has at least one hydrolysable group and at least one sulfur atom, in the vulcanizable rubber composition is <7 phr,
• except of vulcanizable rubber compositions VK1V2, VK1B1, VK2B1, VK2B2, VK2B3, VK2B4 und VK2B5 disclosed in the experimental part of PCT/EP2022/076858, and
• except of vulcanizable rubber composition VKV3 disclosed in the experimental part of PCT/EP2022/073490 (published as WO 2023/025808 A1).
