Abstract
Disclosed herein is the silicate compound below, its synthesis method, and the intermediates made by the method. The silicate compound is made by reacting an alkyl acrylate/3-aminopropyl trimethoxysilane adduct with isophorone diisocyanate, reacting with tetraethyl orthosilicate or a hydrolyzed tetraethyl orthosilicate to form a polysiloxane resin, and curing to form a silicate compound.

A compound having the formula:
- wherein each R is an alkyl group.
A polysiloxane resin having the formula:
- wherein each R is an alkyl group;
- and
- wherein each n is a non-negative integer.
A silicate compound having the formula:
- wherein each R is an alkyl group;
- and
- wherein each n is a non-negative integer.
A method comprising:
- reacting an alkyl acrylate/3-aminopropyl trimethoxysilane adduct with isophorone diisocyanate to form a compound having the formula:
- wherein each R is an alkyl group.
