Abstract
A seat pad includes a polyurethane foam, and the polyurethane foam has a deflection coefficient of 2.8 or less, and a displacement rate (=t1×100/t0) of 30% or more: where t0 is a thickness of a flat plate sample cut out from the polyurethane foam, and t1 is a maximum value of a displacement amount (sinking amount) of an iron plate when a damping characteristic is measured in accordance with JASO B408 using the flat plate sample. In the seat pad, the displacement rate when t0=50 mm is preferably 45% or more.
Claims5
A seat pad comprising a polyurethane foam,
- the polyurethane foam having
- a deflection coefficient of 2.8 or less, and
- a displacement rate represented by the following equation (1) of 30% or more:
- displacement rate=t1×100/t0 (1)
- where
- t0 is a thickness of a flat plate sample cut out from the polyurethane foam, and
- t1 is a maximum value of a displacement amount (sinking amount) of an iron plate when a damping characteristic is measured in accordance with JASO B408 using the flat plate sample.
