The present invention relates to a method for converting a gas or a gas mixture comprising methane (CH4), according to the CH4 reforming reactions (DRM or SRM), characterized in that it is carried out in the presence of cold plasma and a catalyst, said catalyst comprising a support comprising a mixture of alumina and cerium in a molar ratio comprised between 80/20 and 30/70. It also relates to said catalyst, the method for preparing such a catalyst, as well as use thereof for the conversion of a gas or a gas mixture comprising CH4, activated by cold plasma, preferably generated by dielectric barrier discharge (DBD), to produce high added-value molecules, like hydrogen, CO, gaseous hydrocarbons, liquid hydrocarbons, aromatics, oxygenated compounds (alcohols, acids, ketones, esters, ethers, aldehydes, etc.), and/or liquid fuels.
A method for converting a gas or a mixture of gases comprising methane (CH4) according to the CH4 reforming reactions, characterized in that it is carried out in the presence of a cold plasma and a catalyst, said catalyst comprising a support comprising a mixture of alumina and cerium in a molar ratio comprised between 80/20 and 30/70.
A catalyst for the conversion of a gas or a gas mixture comprising methane (CH4) according to the CH4 reforming reactions, comprising a support comprising a mixture of alumina and cerium in a molar ratio comprised between 80/20 and 30/70.
(canceled)
A process for converting a gas or a mixture of gases comprising methane (CH4) according to the CH4 reforming reactions, said conversion being carried out in the presence of a catalyst and in the presence of cold plasma, preferably generated by dielectric barrier discharge (DBD), said catalyst comprising a support comprising a mixture of alumina and cerium in a molar ratio comprised between 80/20 and 30/70.
