Abstract
A work platform includes a floor on which a worker is able to walk, one or a plurality of holes formed in the floor, one or a plurality of movable floors attached to the floor and movable between a closed position to cover the hole and an open position to open the hole, a safety fence switchable between a blocking state where the worker is prevented from entering the floor and an open state where the worker is allowed to enter the floor, and a linkage mechanism configured to move the movable floor in conjunction with an operation of the safety fence so that the movable floor is located at the open position when the safety fence is in the blocking state, and the movable floor is located at the closed position when the safety fence is in the open state.

A work platform comprising:
- a floor on which a worker is able to walk;
- one or a plurality of holes formed in the floor;
- one or a plurality of movable floors attached to the floor and movable between a closed position to cover the hole and an open position to open the hole;
- a safety fence switchable between a blocking state where the worker is prevented from entering the floor and an open state where the worker is allowed to enter the floor;
- and
- a linkage mechanism configured to move the movable floor in conjunction with an operation of the safety fence so that the movable floor is located at the open position when the safety fence is in the blocking state, and the movable floor is located at the closed position when the safety fence is in the open state.
