A lifting apparatus includes a base ; a supporting assembly, a first transmitting assembly a second transmitting assembly and an actuating assembly . The supporting assembly is configured to support an object thereon and lift the object to move in a lifting direction The first transmitting assembly is coupled to the base and the supporting assembly The second transmitting assembly is coupled to the base and the supporting assembly wherein first transmitting assembly and the second transmitting assembly are symmetrically provided with respect to a virtual plane parallel to the lifting direction The actuating assembly is coupled to the first and second transmitting assemblies and the actuating assembly is configured to actuate the first and second transmitting assemblies to move synchronously and symmetrically with respect to the virtual plane.
