Modular container

Abstract

The present invention discloses a modular container. The modular container comprises a base container defining an interior volume and includes a container open portion. The modular container further comprises a fastener assembly comprising one or more first locking interfaces. The first locking interfaces are disposed at the container open portion of the base container. The first locking interfaces are configured to selectively and removably connect the base container to at least one of a lid and one or more extender members. Each extender member comprises a secondary interior volume. The connection of the lid to the base container defines a first configuration. The connection of an extender member to the base container defines a second configuration. When the extender member is connected to the base container, the interior volume and the secondary interior volume form a continuous chamber that modifies the total capacity of the modular container.
