Abstract
In one general aspect, a battery assembly can include: a battery for supplying power to one or more systems of a vehicle; a ballast mount configured to be mounted on a support surface of the vehicle, and including an interior space configured to receive one or more weight members; and a battery mount mounted on the ballast mount, and configured to retain the battery. In another general aspect, a battery assembly can include: a battery for supplying power to one or more systems of a vehicle; and a ballast mount configured to retain the battery. The ballast mount can be further configured to be mounted on a support surface of the vehicle, and can include a hollow container including an interior space configured to receive one or more weight members.

A battery assembly, comprising:
- a battery for supplying power to one or more systems of a vehicle;
- a ballast mount configured to be mounted on a support surface of the vehicle, the ballast mount comprising an interior space configured to receive one or more weight members;
- and
- a battery mount mounted on the ballast mount, and configured to retain the battery.
A battery assembly, comprising:
- a battery for supplying power to one or more systems of a vehicle;
- and
- a ballast mount configured to retain the battery,
- wherein the ballast mount is further configured to be mounted on a support surface of the vehicle, and
- wherein the ballast mount comprises a hollow container including an interior space configured to receive one or more weight members.
A battery mounting assembly, comprising:
- a ballast mount configured to be mounted on a support surface of a vehicle, and comprising an interior space configured to receive one or more weight members;
- and
- a battery mount mounted on the ballast mount, and configured to retain a battery for supplying power to one or more systems of a vehicle.
