Abstract
The access device includes: an access hatch configured to close off the opening when the access device is in the closed position, and configured to release said opening and provide access to a housing when the access device is in the open position; a retaining element for the access hatch, including a first end fixed to the access hatch and a second end configured to cooperate with the housing; wherein the second end of the retaining element is fixed to an inner wall of the housing so that the retaining element is taut when the access device is in the closed position.

An access device for an opening formed in a wall of a motor vehicle part, the opening forming an access to a housing inside the motor vehicle part, the access device comprising:
- an access hatch configured to close off the opening in the wall of the motor vehicle part when the access device is in a closed position, and configured to release said opening giving access to the housing when the access device is in an open position;
- and
- a retaining element for the access hatch comprising a first end fixed to the access hatch and a second end configured to cooperate with the housing,
- wherein the access device the second end of the retaining element is fixed to an inner wall of the housing so that the retaining element is taut when the access device is in the closed position.
