Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a headlamp system for a mobile object, and more specifically, may provide a headlamp system for a mobile object, including a controller configured to generate light pattern information based on external environmental information, and a light output device that includes a plurality of light sources and outputs a road surface projection image generated based on the light pattern information, in which the controller calculates light pattern information, which is data on an image of an update area changed compared to a previous road surface projection image based on the external environmental information, and provides the light pattern information to the light output device.
Claims15
A headlamp system for a mobile object, comprising:
- a controller configured to generate light pattern information based on external environmental information;
- and
- a light output device that includes a plurality of light sources and outputs a road surface projection image generated based on the light pattern information,
- wherein, based on the external environmental information, the controller calculates light pattern information, which is data on an image of an update area changed compared to a previous road surface projection image, and provides the light pattern information to the light output device.
A method of operating a headlamp system for a mobile object, the method comprising:
- acquiring external environmental information;
- generating, by a controller, light pattern information based on the external environmental information, wherein the light pattern information comprises data on an image of an update area changed compared to a previous road surface projection image;
- providing the light pattern information to a light output device comprising a plurality of light sources;
- and
- outputting, by the light output device, a road surface projection image based on the light pattern information by selectively updating an image in the update area while maintaining images in remaining areas based on the previous road surface projection image.
