Abstract
A shifting apparatus includes shift switches and icons. The shift switches provide operation instructions in accordance with contact by an operating hand. In a case in which operation of a shift switch is prohibited because a predetermined vehicle state is lacking, the icons, which serve as a notification unit, make a notification of the lacking vehicle state before contact of the operating hand with the shift switch.
Claims7
A shifting apparatus, comprising:
- a shift switch that provides an operation instruction in accordance with contact of an operating hand;
- and
- a notification unit that, in a case in which operation of the shift switch is prohibited due to lack of a predetermined vehicle state, makes a notification of the lacking vehicle state before contact of the operating hand with the shift switch.
