A drive apparatus for a work machine includes a drive input, a drive output, a first and second energy machine, and a first transmission unit having a first and second input and a first and second output, wherein the drive input is connectable to the drive output via the first transmission unit, the first energy machine is connectable to the first input by a first shift element, and the second energy machine is connected to the second input.

A drive apparatus for a work machine, comprising:
- a drive input;
- a drive output;
- a first and second energy machine;
- and
- a first transmission unit having a first and second input and a first and second output;
- wherein the drive input is connectable to the drive output via the first transmission unit, the first energy machine is connectable to the first input by a first shift element, and the second energy machine is connected to the second input.
