Tire with sipes

A tire comprising a circumferential tread portion including

• a plurality of tread blocks, wherein each tread block has a leading edge and a trailing edge with respect to a designated direction of rotation of the tire, and wherein at least a portion of one or more of the plurality of tread blocks have a chamfer at the trailing edge;
• wherein at least a portion of one or more of the plurality of tread blocks have at least one sipe extending in an elongated direction transversely to a direction of rotation of the tire and having a pair of opposite sidewalls including a leading sidewall and a trailing sidewall with respect to the direction of rotation of the tire,
• wherein at least one of the sidewalls comprise protrusions along its radial height, which extend along the elongated direction and have radially outer sides, and
• wherein at least a majority of the protrusions are chamfered along their radially outer sides, and wherein at least one of the sidewalls comprises a plurality of bump stops extending along a majority of a radial height of the sipe and protruding towards an opposite sidewall of the sidewalls to avoid closing of the sipe between the sidewalls adjacent the bump stops and wherein a sum of widths measured along the elongated direction of the plurality of bump stops is less than 20% of the total extension of the sipe along the elongated direction.
