Abstract
A liquid discharge head includes a nozzle plate having a rectangular shape having long sides and short sides; a nozzles array having nozzles to discharge liquid; and a positioning mark. The nozzles in the nozzle array are arrayed in a nozzle array direction oblique to one of the short sides of the nozzle plate. The positioning mark is disposed in a positioning area having a right-angled triangular shape enclosed by the nozzle array, the one of the short sides, and a part of one of the long sides between the one of the short sides and the nozzle array.

A liquid discharge head comprising:
- a nozzle plate having:
- a rectangular shape having long sides and short sides;
- a nozzles array having nozzles to discharge liquid,
- the nozzles in the nozzle array arrayed in a nozzle array direction oblique to one of the short sides of the nozzle plate;
- and
- a positioning mark disposed in a positioning area having a right-angled triangular shape enclosed by:
- the nozzle array;
- the one of the short sides;
- and
- a part of one of the long sides between the one of the short sides and the nozzle array.
