Abstract
A liquid discharge head includes a nozzle plate having multiple nozzles; multiple individual channels respectively communicating with the multiple nozzles; multiple actuators in the nozzle plate; a common channel communicating with each of the multiple individual channels; and a damper chamber. The multiple actuators respectively surround the multiple nozzles, to deform the nozzle plate to discharge a liquid in the multiple individual channels from the multiple nozzles. The common channel communicates with each of the multiple individual channels. The damper chamber communicates with the common channel; faces the nozzle plate; and is independent from each of the multiple individual channels.

A liquid discharge head comprising:
- a nozzle plate having multiple nozzles;
- multiple individual channels respectively communicating with the multiple nozzles;
- multiple actuators in the nozzle plate,
- the multiple actuators respectively surrounding the multiple nozzles,
- to deform the nozzle plate to discharge a liquid in the multiple individual channels from the multiple nozzles;
- a common channel communicating with each of the multiple individual channels;
- and
- a damper chamber:
- communicating with the common channel;
- facing the nozzle plate;
- and
- independent from each of the multiple individual channels.
