Abstract
A correction device includes a hardware processor that determines, based on a landing result of a droplet on the recording medium for the nozzle, whether or not each of the droplets of the two or more sizes for the nozzle is abnormal, in which the hardware processor executes correction processing when a droplet having a size of an abnormality target is ejected at an abnormal nozzle.
Claims15
A correction device in an image forming apparatus including an ejector having a plurality of nozzles, each of which is capable of ejecting droplets of two or more sizes onto a recording medium, the correction device comprising:
- a hardware processor that determines, based on a landing result of a droplet on the recording medium for the nozzle, whether or not each of the droplets of the two or more sizes for the nozzle is abnormal, wherein
- the hardware processor executes correction processing when a droplet having a size of an abnormality target is ejected at an abnormal nozzle for which a droplet of at least one the two or more sizes is determined to be abnormal.
A correction method for an image forming apparatus including an ejector having a plurality of nozzles, each of which is capable of ejecting droplets of two or more sizes onto a recording medium, the correction method comprising:
- determining, based on a landing result of a droplet on the recording medium for the nozzle, whether or not each of the droplets of the two or more sizes for the nozzle is abnormal;
- and
- executing correction processing when a droplet having a size of an abnormality target is ejected at an abnormal nozzle for which a droplet of at least one the two or more sizes is determined to be abnormal.
