Abstract
An aspect of the present invention provides an optical film (10) including a glass base material (11) having a thickness of 30 μm or more and 200 μm or less and a resin layer (12) adjacent to the glass base material (11), wherein the resin layer (12) has a Young's modulus of 70 MPa or more and 1200 MPa or less at 25° C.

A foldable image display device comprising:
- a display panel,
- an optical film placed on an observer's side of the display panel, and
- a polarizer placed between the display panel and the optical film, wherein the optical film comprises
- a glass base material having a thickness of 30 μm or more and 200 μm or less, and
- a resin layer adjacent to the glass base material, wherein
- the resin layer has a Young's modulus of 70 MPa or more and 1200 MPa or less at 25° C.
