Abstract
A facility is for manufacturing a wind turbine rotor blade. The facility includes: a plurality of stationary molds for manufacturing parts of a wind turbine rotor blade, a gas exhaust system having a plurality of gas exhaust terminals, each gas exhaust terminal being arranged stationary with respect to the molds, and a vacuum pump producing exhaust gas during operation, wherein the vacuum pump is movable relative to the molds and the plurality of gas exhaust terminals such that the vacuum pump can be selectively connected to a gas exhaust terminal of the plurality of the gas exhaust terminals to discharge the exhaust gas of the vacuum pump to the outside of the facility. A gas exhaust system is for a facility for manufacturing a wind turbine rotor blade.
Claims17
A facility for manufacturing a wind turbine rotor blade, the facility comprising:
- a plurality of stationary molds for manufacturing parts of the wind turbine rotor blade;
- a gas exhaust system including a plurality of gas exhaust terminals, each of said plurality of gas exhaust terminals being arranged stationary with respect to said plurality of stationary molds;
- a vacuum pump producing exhaust gas during operation;
- and,
- said vacuum pump being movable relative to said plurality of stationary molds and said plurality of gas exhaust terminals such that said vacuum pump is selectively connectable to a gas exhaust terminal of said plurality of gas exhaust terminals to discharge the exhaust gas of said vacuum pump to outside of the facility.
A gas exhaust system for a facility for manufacturing a wind turbine rotor blade, the gas exhaust system comprising:
- a plurality of gas exhaust terminals configured to be installed stationary in a wall or a floor of the facility;
- and,
- said plurality of gas exhaust terminals being configured to be selectively connected to a vacuum pump in order to discharge exhaust gas of the vacuum pump.
