Abstract

A clamp for attaching a wick plug to an annular wick is disclosed. The annular wick defining an outside diameter. The wick plug and the annular wick comprising a first material having a first coefficient of thermal expansion. The clamp comprising a clamp body defining an arcuate exterior surface defining a center axis and an inner diameter to receive the annular wick and wick plug therein. The inner diameter is equal to or less than 0.010 inch greater than the outside diameter of the annular wick. The inner diameter is centered on the center axis of the arcuate exterior surface. The clamp body comprises a second material having a second coefficient of thermal expansion that is less than the first coefficient of thermal expansion.
