Abstract
A die head includes a drive portion having a plurality of recesses configured to receive torque from a pipe threading machine and a die retention portion coupled to the drive portion. The die retention portion has a plurality of die posts. Each die post is configured to receive a die. The die retention portion is composed of aluminum.

A die head comprising:
- a drive portion having a plurality of recesses configured to receive torque from a pipe threading machine;
- and
- a die retention portion coupled to the drive portion and including a plurality of die posts, each die post configured to receive a die, the die retention portion being composed of aluminum.
