High speed automatic card shuffling machine configured to deliver packets of cards to a dealer

An automatic card shuffler comprising:

• a processor configured to control certain automatic card shuffler operations;
• a housing;
• a pre-shuffle bin configured to receive a group of cards;
• a card-receiving area into which individually and randomly selected cards from said group of cards are moved, said card-receiving area including a movable shelf;
• a card packet delivery section below said card-receiving area;
• a dealer pick up area adjacent to said card packet delivery section;
• and
• wherein said processor causes:
• (i) a first group of cards to be shuffled by being individually and randomly moved into said card-receiving area;
• (ii) said movable shelf to move causing said first group of cards to collectively move into said card packet delivery section;
• (iii) said card packet delivery section to deliver to a dealer pick up area one or more game hands comprising a pre-established number of cards based on a game being played and simultaneously a next group of cards to be shuffled by being individually and randomly moved into said card-receiving area;
• (iv) said card packet delivery section to propel all remaining cards to said dealer pick up area once all cards necessary to play said game being played have been removed from said dealer pick up area by a dealer;
• and
• (v) when said card packet delivery section is empty, said movable shelf to move causing said next group of cards to move into said card packet delivery section.

An automatic card shuffler comprising:

• a processor configured to control said automatic card shuffler to:
• (i) shuffle a first group of cards placed in a pre-shuffle bin by individually and randomly moving each card forming said first group of cards onto a movable shelf in a card receiving area;
• (ii) move said movable shelf causing said first group of cards to collectively move into a card packet delivery section below said shelf;
• (iii) deliver one or more game hands comprising a pre-established number of cards from said first group of cards in said card packet delivery section to a dealer pick up area based on a game being played;
• (iv) simultaneously with step (iii), shuffling a next group of cards placed in the pre-shuffle bin by individually and randomly moving each card forming said next group of cards placed into said pre-shuffle bin onto said movable shelf in said card receiving area;
• and
• (v) when said card packet delivery section is empty, move said movable shelf causing said next group of cards to move into said card packet delivery section.
