Batter training system

Abstract

A batter training system includes a bat analyzer, impact detection label, and swing analysis station. The analyzer identifies the sweet spot of the bat based on vibrational response of the bat. The impact detection label is temporarily affixed to the bat at the sweet spot. The swing analysis station includes a stance mat and a T-ball stand at a fixed position relative to batter stance grids of the stance mat. The batter's stance position is marked on the stance mat and the batter hits a ball supported by the T-ball stand. The impact detection label deforms at the location of contact between the bat and the ball. The offset of that location from the sweet spot is identified using the graduated markings on the impact detection label. The batter's stance is adjusted by the same number of graduated markings on the stance mat.
