An intracavitary applicator for radiation oncology includes a first arm in which a radiation source can be received and a second arm that is coupled to the first arm and in which the radiation source can be received. Each arm includes a handle that defines a proximal end of the arm and a tandem that can be inserted into a uterine cavity of an individual and defines a distal end of the arm. The handle and tandem of each arm collectively define an internal channel of the arm that can receive and guide the radiation source toward a distal end of the arm. For each arm, a portion of the internal channel defined by the tandem of the arm curves along multiple planes to account for uterine anteflexion and/or anteversion.
