The apparatus can include a mixing member configured to shake the vial to mix the solution The apparatus can include an injection member configured to draw the solution from the vial and to inject the solution into an injection site of a person.

An apparatus for automatic emergency hydrocortisone injection, comprising:
- a pressing member configured to compress a vial to activate a solution in the vial;
- a mixing member configured to shake the vial to mix the solution;
- and
- an injection member configured to draw the solution from the vial, and to inject the solution into an injection site of a person.
