Targeted Temperature Management Systems, Pads, and Methods Thereof

A method for targeted temperature management (“TTM”), comprising:

• placing a pad on a patient's body, the pad including:
• a multilayered pad body including:
• a conduit layer including a plurality of conduits moveably disposed in a thermally conductive medium, each conduit of the plurality of conduits configured to convey a temperature-controlled fluid as a supply fluid from a hydraulic system of a control module or convey a return fluid back to the hydraulic system;
• a patient-interfacing layer over the conduit layer configured for placement on the patient's body, the patient-interfacing layer including a thermally conductive film configured to retain the plurality of conduits and the thermally conductive medium in the conduit layer;
• and
• an insulation layer over the conduit layer opposite the patient-interfacing layer;
• a pad inlet connector configured for charging the conduit layer with the supply fluid;
• and
• a pad outlet connector configured for discharging the return fluid from the conduit layer;
• charging the plurality of conduits of the pad with the supply fluid provided by the hydraulic system of the control module by way of a combination of fluidly connected fluid delivery lines (“FDLs”) including a primary FDL and a secondary FDL;
• and
• circulating the supply fluid through the pad to cool or warm the patient's body as needed in accordance with TTM.
