Abstract
An external catheter for male patients in hospital comprises a cross-shaped pad that would frame the patient's shaft or scrotum before being folded onto itself. The pad includes a suction catheter for attaching to wall suction. It would need replacing as often as typical external catheters but proves more effective for male patients who are incontinent.
