Implant

An implant, comprising:

• an openwork, hollow-cylindrical main body assembled from a plurality of openwork, hollow-cylindrical segments arranged in succession in a longitudinal direction, the segments comprising two terminal segments arranged at opposite longitudinal ends of the main body and at least one inner segment between the two terminal segments, wherein the two terminal segments and the at least one inner segment comprise the same or substantially the same inner diameter, wherein the main body is configured to assume a compressed state and an expanded state,
• at least two connecting bars connecting each of the two terminal segments to the at least one inner segment, and
• wherein each of the two terminal segments and the at least one inner segment comprise a plurality of segment bars that form a circumferential meandering structure with maximum points and minimum points,
• wherein the meandering structure of at least one of the two terminal segments has a smaller number of minimum points and/or maximum points than the at least one inner segment, and
• wherein the main body comprises a biodegradable magnesium-aluminum alloy comprising 5.5-7% Al by weight.
