Abstract
A dental crown and method of use thereof. According to the method provided herein, a dental crown is selected having an appropriate size and shape and an internal contour. The tooth to which the crown is to be applied is prepared to have an external contour. Composite material is injected into the internal contour of the dental crown. The dental crown is placed over the prepared tooth and the deposited composite material is cured using light.
Claims1
A tooth restoration kit, comprising:
- a plurality of dental crowns having different measurements, wherein each dental crown of the plurality of dental crowns includes:
- a contact adjuster feature that is at at least one of mesial contact or distal contact areas, wherein the contact adjuster feature comprises:
- a physical indentation defined by a ridge at an external surface of the dental crown, wherein the physical indentation is adapted to receive a composite material that defines an outer contour of the at least one of mesial contact or distal contact, and
- a base that is formed by the external surface and is surrounded by the ridge to hold a material.
