Patch And Method For Using A Patch

A method for using a reinforcement patch, cooperated with a physiological parameter detection device having a base patch, comprising steps of:

• providing the reinforcement patch including a backing and a peelable sheet, wherein:
• the backing is disposed with an adhesive layer having an adhesive surface;
• the adhesive surface includes a central adhesive portion and an outer adhesive portion;
• and
• the peelable sheet is detachably adhered to the adhesive surface for preserving the adhesive surface and includes an inner peelable portion and an outer peelable portion;
• adhering the physiological parameter detection device to a skin surface through the base patch;
• moving the inner peelable portion away from the central adhesive portion to at least expose the central adhesive portion;
• upon a supporting force provided by the outer peelable portion for the backing, adhering the central adhesive portion to a top surface of the physiological parameter detection device;
• peeling off the outer peelable portion to expose the outer adhesive portion;
• and
• adhering the outer adhesive portion to the skin surface.

A method for increasing an adhesive strength of a physiological parameter detection device on a skin surface, in which the physiological parameter detection device includes a base to be disposed to the skin surface and a transmitter detachably disposed to the base and having a top surface, comprising steps of:

• providing a patch including a backing and a peelable sheet, wherein:
• the backing is disposed with an adhesive layer having an adhesive surface;
• the adhesive surface includes a central adhesive portion and an outer adhesive portion;
• and
• the peelable sheet is detachably adhered to the adhesive surface for preserving the adhesive surface and includes an inner peelable portion and an outer peelable portion;
• moving the inner peelable portion away from the central adhesive portion to at least expose the central adhesive portion;
• upon having a supporting force provided by the outer peelable portion for the backing, adhering the central adhesive portion to the top surface of the transmitter;
• when the base is disposed on the skin surface, disposing the transmitter assembled with the patch to the base;
• peeling off the outer peelable portion to expose the outer adhesive portion;
• and
• adhering the outer adhesive portion to the skin surface.
