Combined Manicure Bit

A method for performing hardware manicure or pedicure using a combined manicure bit comprising a flame-shaped working portion and a ball-shaped working portion, the method comprising the steps of:

• step 1, connecting the bit to a manicure device or machine equipped with a motor for rotating the bit about a longitudinal axis of the bit, and switching on the manicure device or machine to activate the motor;
• to clean a nail from pterygium and lift a cuticle from the nail surface,
• step 2, placing the flame-shaped working portion of the bit parallel to the nail and moving the bit from a center of a proximal nail fold of the nail to a left sinus of the nail simultaneously touching both the nail and an inner wall of the proximal nail fold, with a tip of the flame-shaped working portion directed opposite to a direction of movement of the bit, and
• step 3, placing the flame-shaped working portion of the bit parallel to the nail and moving the bit from the center of the proximal nail fold of the nail to a right sinus of the nail simultaneously touching both the nail and the inner wall of the proximal nail fold, with the tip of the flame-shaped working portion directed opposite to a direction of movement of the bit;
• to thin and cut the cuticle and polish the surface of the proximal nail fold,
• step 4, lifting the cuticle by the ball-shaped working portion by treating a center of the cuticle to make the cuticle perpendicular to the nail,
• step 5, cutting the cuticle by pressing the ball-shaped working portion against the proximal nail fold while moving along a base of the cuticle, and
• step 6, polishing the cut by the ball-shaped working portion.
