Abstract
In a slider for a slide fastener according to the present invention, a guide post has element locking parts which face separation paths of a guide path and to which engagement head parts of a fastener element are locked. The element locking parts have locking surfaces that face rearward and that restrict the slider from moving rearward in a locked state in which the engagement head parts are locked to the element locking parts. The separation paths have, on the outer sides of the locking surfaces of the guide post in the left-right direction, release spaces that allow outward movement of a fastener stringer in the left-right direction so as to release the locked state of the engagement head parts and the element locking part.
Claims7
A slide fastener comprising:
- a pair of left and right fastener stringers each of the fastener stringers in which an element row having a plurality of fastener elements is provided on a tape side edge portion of a fastener tape;
- and
- a slider configured to slide along the element row, wherein:
- each of the fastener elements has an engaging head configured to engage with an engagement mating fastener element,
- the slider has an upper blade and a lower blade arranged opposite to each other vertically, a guide column connecting the upper blade and the lower blade, and a pair of left and right flanges formed on both the left and right sides of at least one of the upper blade and the lower blade and extending from a rearward opening side toward a shoulder opening side of the slider,
- between the upper blade and the lower blade of the slider, an element guide path is formed, which includes a pair of separation paths separated to the left and right by the guide column, and a merging path where the separation paths merge on the rear sides of the separation paths, and which is configured to guide the element row,
- the guide column faces the separation paths of the element guide paths and has an element engaging portion with which the engaging head of the fastener element is to be engaged,
- the element engaging portion has an engaging surface facing a rear side, which is configured to restrict the slider from moving to the rear side in an engaged state where the engaging head is engaged with the element engaging portion, and
- each of the separation paths has an escape space that allows the fastener stringer to move to an outer side in a left-right direction to release the engaged state between the engaging head and the element engaging portion on the outer side in the left-right direction of the engaging surface of the guide column.
