Method of producing photoelectric conversion element

A method of producing a photoelectric conversion element, the method comprising:

• a step (A) of forming a photoelectric conversion layer containing a crystal having a perovskite structure by using a large-area film formation method;
• and
• a step (B) of forming a charge-transporting layer by applying a paint for a charge-transporting layer onto a surface of the photoelectric conversion layer and then drying the paint,
• wherein the step (A) comprises:
• a step (A-1) of uniformly applying a paint for a photoelectric conversion layer;
• and
• a step (A-2) of drying the paint for a photoelectric conversion layer, and
• wherein the step (A-2) comprises a process of drying the paint for a photoelectric conversion layer by blowing a gas through use of a unit for blowing a gas.
